From Shakespeare, the author of "Hamlet" and "Romeo and Juliet", to J.K. Rowlings, the woman who wrote the "Harry Potter" series, there are many interesting writers in English literature.
The popular Charles Dickens wrote "Oliver Twist" in the 19th century. "Robinson Crusoe" is a novel by Daniel Defoe. "Treasure Island" is another famous novel written by Robert L. Stevenson in 1883. J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the famous trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" in the 1950s.
All these famous books are also great films. Have you seen any of them? You can watch them at home and enjoy English literature through cinema.
