The world is full of colours, and colours make you feel emotions. Colours are divided into warm colours: yellow, red, orange - and cool colours: blue, green, violet. Warm colours produce feelings of happiness. They are associated to the sun and fire. Cool colours make you feel sad and pessimistic. They are associated to water and vegetation. Artists select colours for their effect. The aborigins in Australia chose green and brown, the colours of nature, to express their creativity.

We are colouring a mandala, which is a circular shape that represents the universe. This is a triangle, this is a circle, this is a leaf, and these are swirls. This is blue, this colour is brown, this is pink, this is yellow, this is green, this is purple, this is red, this is pink, this is another blue...
